Hello all,
Here is another great article that I've been dying to write for some time now. I recently had a friend tell me about a car company. A car company that is 100% electric. Now I know a lot of you are reading this thinking, "oh great, an electric car company,... they are probably pieces of crap and can only go 25 mph."
That's exactly what I used to think of when I thought of electric cars... slow crappy cars that go as fast as a moped and looks like a festiva. Until my friend told me about ZAP which stands for Zero Air Pollution. The cars they've designed are 100% electric and best of all, look GOOD! Well at least some of them do (the three wheel zebra design is not my favorite). They have a whole line up of different sedans/sports/and even a crossover designed by Lotus Engineering. The company is growing fast by inking a key partnership with Lotus Design Engineering and signing a joint venture deal with Youngman Automotive in China (biggest luxury car dealership in China). They have signed a mega contract with Coca-Cola and their electric sedan is the first ever electric sedan to pass the VOSA test in the UK. They are selling their cars all over the U.S, in China, UK, and Japan. The company is getting out of debt while Daimler's SMART is going further and further into debt.
Read this article for more on that:

The company is a publicly traded company on the OTC BB. This is the minor league of stock exchanges. Now yes most penny stocks are traded on this exchange and yes it is risky and stock prices can fluctuate very easily. The difference about ZAP's stock history is that it used to be traded on the NASDAQ. It was hovering around $4.00-$5.00 when they decided that they wanted to cut costs by being listed in the NASDAQ and move to the cheaper exchange like the OTC BB. The reason, as stated by the company, was that they wanted to spend more money on research and development while still being a publicly traded company. The company plans on going back to the NASDAQ once they have executed their future plans around their cars.
Overall, my ideal trading position on this company is to build shares bi-weekly or monthly. The stock isn't going anywhere right now being in the OTC BB but it is definitely cheap. Their financials are great and when they move to the NASDAQ, they will be worth a lot more than $.95 a share. Take for example GBT - Advanced Battery Technologies. Earlier this year the company was $.56 a share and announced the contract of being the exclusive battery dealer of ZAP. Now the company is trading in the NASDAQ at $5.00-$6.00 a share! Take my advice, get in early on this company, they are going higher.
